Keynote Performance: ​Celebrating Repertory Etudes

​The event commemorates 20 years of the Battleworks Etude and showcases an intergenerational roster of performers from Dancing Legacy Ensemble, Fusionworks Youth Ensemble, and DAPpers Rep. The evening includes live and video performances as well as a live presentation on Repertory Etudes by Dancing Legacy Co-Founders Carolyn Adams and Julie Adams Strandberg.

Come enjoy this rare treat with master teacher, choreographer, and former artistic director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Robert Battle. Geared for adults and teens. Open to all levels but some dance background is assumed. The class will be accompanied by Rhode Island percussionist Michael DeQuattro​.

Come enjoy a Dance for All People (DAPpers) multigenerational dance class designed for people with movement challenges and ageing bodies led by Rachel Balaban. The class will be followed by an open rehearsal of DAPpers Rep working on a piece choreographed by Dancing Legacy co-founder Julie Adams Strandberg.
