Gatherings

Dancing Legacy offers curated, seasonal gatherings that establish the flow of our year and invite members of the public to experience the Dancing Legacy philosophy in action. These gatherings bring together people of every background, level, and ability, and they are equally beneficial for dancers and non-dancers alike.

Dance Common

Dance Common
Dance Common is all about community. Using the metaphor of the “town common,” Dancing Legacy structures this gathering as a space where community members come together to build shared common knowledge and connection through dance.

Entr'acte

Entr'acte
Entr’acte is all about exploration and investigation. This gathering gives participants the opportunity to delve deeply into exploring dance in a way that is personally meaningful and culturally relevant. It is a “think tank” style gathering that is also the culminating event of an internal mid-year retreat.

Mini-Fest

Mini-Fest
Mini-Fest is the largest Dancing Legacy gathering of the year. It has a long and successful track record and includes a roster of different elements such as performances, lecture demonstrations, guest presenters, panel discussions, and more.
