Dancing Legacy residencies bring together dancers, students, educators, and general audiences in a comfortable environment that supports active engagement with dance through multiple points of entry. Our methods build literacy, investigate authenticity, and nurture an individual relationship to the dances. We emphasize different elements depending on skill-level, need, and interest, and our programs can take the form of a stand-alone workshop or multi-day residency geared towards performance. Video viewing, reading, discussion, and writing offer further insight and context around the featured choreographer and related dance styles.

Dancing Legacy programming occurs year-round, however we respond to inquiries and set-up schedules during periodic time blocks: mid-January, mid-April, early July, and early October.
